“He that guards the language, keeps the key” (F. Mistral, Premio Nobel 1904) that is the motto of the XV edition of the Ostana Prize.
In a constantly changing world, where it is difficult to orient oneself, mother languages are precious keys that allow us to understand the contemporary reality. The mission of Ostana Prize is guarding and promoting linguistic biodiversity, thanks to invitation writers, players and filmmakers: just think that the prize hosted 80 artists and 46 languages coming from all over the world until now.
Save the date 23rd-24th-25th June, give yourself a one of a kind and unforgettable experience in Miribrant hamlet, in front of the Monviso: a cultural, linguistic, emotional immersion en convivència (in a sort of community life), in the company of the 8 award-winning.
Participate in the Ostana Prize 2023 is also a way to celebrate the International Decade for Indigenous Languages, proclaimed by Unesco.
